I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! This is our last week before our Spring Break begins. Spring Break begins next Monday, April 1 to Monday, April 8th. I hope everyone has a wonderful week off!<\/p>\n
Monday, March 25: Spelling Words:
\nstare, share, dare, chair, rare, fair, care, pair, bare, hair, where, wear, the, they, them, themselves.
\nStudy the Math Study Guide and clarify any confusions. Math Study Guide is due Tuesday. <\/p>\n
Green\/White Reading Logs: Students are doing a great job reading and recording their minutes on the reading logs. If you run out of space, begin writing on the back of the paper:) Be sure to turn the reading logs in Thursday with a chance to earn a ticket to win a free bike!<\/p>\n
Tuesday, March 26: Mid Module 4 Test on Adding and Subtracting 2 and 3 digit numbers using knowledge of place value and arrow methods.
\nA poem I taught the students for subtraction with regrouping is:<\/p>\n
When there is more on the floor,
\nGo to the neighbor next door,
\nBorrow 10 more.<\/p>\n
More on the top,
\nNo need to stop.<\/p>\n

Wednesday: Thursday: This week we have some special events: Join us for fun and games. P.T.A. will have food to purchase at a low cost!<\/p>\n Thank you to everyone who donated books for our book basket! A special thank you as well to Adam’s mom for creating our gift basket! <\/p>\n Friday, March 29th: Students can dress as their favorite book character.
