I hope everyone survived the storms from last week! Michigan has such crazy weather!<\/p>\n
This week:<\/p>\n
Spelling: honest, honestly, penny, penniless, begin, beginning, friendly, friend, friendliness, clear, clearly, enjoy, enjoyment, accomplish, accomplishment, Bill of Rights, angles, right, turn, degrees. <\/p>\n
Math: We begin to study angles: acute, obtuse, right, straight, etc. We will measure, discuss, and explore angles. We will also work on dividing and multiplying:)<\/p>\n
Social STudies: We are finishing our unit on government. We will have a quiz this Thursday. Our review and studies have taken place in class. <\/p>\n
Science: We have been studying the Earth, moon, and sun. Ask your child all that they know about these topics and study the moon together each night:)<\/p>\n
REading: New reading logs were sent home on Monday. You can log minutes on the reading logs and they will be turned in to a drawing each Friday for the month of March. Your child could win a Barnes and Noble gift card if their name gets chosen!!!<\/p>\n
Wednesday, March 15th is Late Start. <\/p>\n
Wednesday the 22nd is our Music Concert at 6:30. STudents will need to arrive at 6:15 and go to the cafeteria. <\/p>\n
