This week:
\nSpelling: We will concentrate on the th, tch, ch, and ea chunk. Thanks for practicing each week!<\/p>\n
Math: We will begin double digit subtraction with and without regrouping.<\/p>\n
Science: We will learn about the world’ oceans and the water cycle. <\/p>\n
Social Studies: We will study why people form governments and why we have laws.<\/p>\n
Language Arts: We will study cause and effect while reading. The cause is what makes something happen. The effect is what happens. Look for a parent pipeline this week that will help you ask your child the right kinds of questions while practicing this strategy. <\/p>\n
Writing: We are publishing our informational writing into an “All About Book.” We will then share our information with our Kindergarten friends. Our published copy will then go into our writing portfolio. <\/p>\n
