{"id":140,"date":"2019-01-14T07:27:32","date_gmt":"2019-01-14T12:27:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/palonis\/?p=140"},"modified":"2019-01-14T07:27:32","modified_gmt":"2019-01-14T12:27:32","slug":"end-of-semester-information","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/palonis\/2019\/01\/14\/end-of-semester-information\/","title":{"rendered":"End of Semester Information"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Good Morning,<\/p>\n<p>As promised, I will attach the PowerPoint I have been using in class for you to review.\u00a0 I will also attach the study guide and the SSR project.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>ALL SSR PROJECTS ARE DUE BY TUESDAY<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I am working on grades and as I have said repeatedly, grades will continue to change until I submit them.\u00a0 Please do not email me about missing work from previous card marking periods.\u00a0 If you do plan to email me, please make sure you use proper formatting and spelling AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, DO NOT EMAIL ME AFTER 7 PM.\u00a0 I WILL NOT RESPOND.<\/p>\n<p>Emails should include a salutation &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Examples of this would be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good Morning\/Afternoon\/Evening<\/li>\n<li>Dear<\/li>\n<li>Hi\/Hello<\/li>\n<li>Miss Palonis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Then, you would hit enter and begin typing your email.\u00a0 There should be some type of greeting, then you can start asking your questions.\u00a0 When you have finished, you need a signature, for example, &#8220;Sincerely&#8221; works really well.\u00a0 Before you hit send, please proofread.\u00a0 Make sure you spell names properly!<\/p>\n<p>Please make sure you do these things.\u00a0 I will not respond to your questions until the email is formatted properly.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s an example:<\/p>\n<p>Dear Miss Palonis,<\/p>\n<p>I hope this email finds you well.\u00a0 I am writing you because I was wondering why I have a C in your class.\u00a0 Blah blah blah, something about missing assignments or retakes or something.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your time,<\/p>\n<p>Katie<\/p>\n<p>If you have any other questions or concerns, let me know (in a properly formatted email!)<\/p>\n<p>Good luck on all of your finals!<\/p>\n<p>-Miss Palonis<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/palonis\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2523\/2019\/01\/Week-of-7_14-Jan19-Presentation-FINAL-REVIEW.pptx\">Week of 7_14 Jan19 Presentation FINAL REVIEW<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/palonis\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2523\/2019\/01\/SSR-Project.docx\">SSR Project<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good Morning, As promised, I will attach the PowerPoint I have been using in class for you to review.\u00a0 I will also attach the study guide and the SSR project.
