I hope you all had a great break! Here is what has been happening in our class. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7TH GRADE MATHEMATICS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If your student does not have dry erase markers or earbuds, it might be a good idea to purchase some for your student. Some Chromebook activities that we work on in class will have material for students to listen to. Please have a pair that can plug into the computer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*<strong>In order to retake the Lesson 6 or 7 quiz, IXL assignments need to have a smart score of at least 80 (at least 4 points).<\/strong>\u00a0 If your student has completed this requirement they need to come see me to schedule a make up quiz. Make up quizzes will take place during lunch (they will eat and work) or after school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We finished the first unit! We reviewed on Monday last week and started the Unit 1 Test. Students will be finishing the Test this week and begin working on Lesson 9 (complex fractions and unit rates). This week&#8217;s plan is below: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Monday- Unit 1 Review and Test<\/li><li>Tuesday- Finish Unit 1 Test<\/li><li>Wednesday- Unit 2 Self Check and vocabulary (Video on Chromebooks for the next unit, students should bring headphones\/earbuds)<\/li><li>Thursday- Lesson 9 Introduction. Hw: pg. 87-88<\/li><li>Friday- Lesson 9 continued. Hw: pg. 89-90<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">COMPUTER APPLICATIONS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If your child does not have earbuds or headphones, it might be a good idea to purchase some for your student. There are some activities that we do in class that require students to listen to a video. Please do not send in air-pods, they will not work with the computers.
