I handed back quizzes and spent one class period going over a new retake procedure that students will follow for the rest of the year. Students that have quizzes to retake should have scheduled with me a time to complete the retake. I have given my lunchtime and some after school availability as options to the students.<\/p>\n<p>Here is what this week has looked like:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday: homework- pg 183-184 (in packet)<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday: Blocks 1 and 2 no homework- (retake day), Block 3 homework- pg 185-186<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday: Blocks 1 and 2 homework-pg. 185-186, Block 3 no homework- (retake day)<\/li>\n<li>Thursday: homework- pg 187-190 (we covered two sections and they had time to complete in class)<\/li>\n<li>Friday: homework- pg 191-192 (finish packet) and study guide.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Next week at a glance:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday: Lesson 17 Review\/Quiz<\/li>\n<li>Tuesday: NWEA<\/li>\n<li>Wednesday: NWEA<\/li>\n<li>Thursday: Begin Lesson 18<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students can always spend any extra time available on Khan Academy or on <a href=\"https:\/\/IXL.com\">IXL<\/a> to sharpen their math skills (especially with the NWEA coming up). I will be putting in grades this weekend or early next week.
