Good morning!\u00a0 I\u00a0 hope everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather yesterday.\u00a0 I\u2019m so happy to see the sunshine again today!\u00a0 This week is a full week with a lot going on.\u00a0 On Monday we will be having an assembly by DTE.\u00a0 Wednesday is a late start.\u00a0 Friday is our Action Day where we will be outside for a portion of the day planting.\u00a0 Please make sure your child comes to school in clothes that you don\u2019t mind if they get dirty.\u00a0 Next Thursday, May 2nd is the Ethnic Dinner.\u00a0 If you plan on attending please return the slip that was sent home with the oldest child last week.\u00a0 This is our last week before MSTEP testing begins.\u00a0 We will be going over the online components of this test, and students will have a chance to practice online.\u00a0 With all that going on, we will still be learning lots.<\/p>\n
Math:\u00a0 We will continue learning about area.\u00a0 There will be a mid-module assessment Friday.\u00a0 The study guide will come home earlier in the week.<\/p>\n
Science:\u00a0 Students were given a study guide last week.\u00a0 We will go over that today, and the test is on Wednesday.\u00a0 The answer key to the study guide is on the blog, so you can practice with your child tonight if you didn\u2019t already over the weekend.<\/p>\n
Reading:\u00a0 We will be using this time to work on the online practice MSTEP test.<\/p>\n
Writing:\u00a0 We are beginning our next informational writing unit.\u00a0 Students will be researching famous people from Michigan.\u00a0 This week we will be introducing the project and begin taking notes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
