Good Morning!\u00a0 This is just a reminder that field trip permission slips are due by this Friday, March 1st.\u00a0 Here is our weekly focus for this week.<\/p>\n
Math:\u00a0 We are still focusing on learning strategies to solve basic multiplication and division facts.\u00a0 We will be working with word problems this week.\u00a0 There will be a topic quiz Wednesday.\u00a0 A study guide will come home Monday.<\/p>\n
Science:\u00a0 We will be learning about climate this week and the factors that affect climate in a particular region.\u00a0 Reminder: Tests are going home today, please sign them and send them back with your child.<\/p>\n
Social Studies:\u00a0 We will be learning about imports and exports and how specialization of goods leads to interdependence between states.<\/p>\n
Reading:\u00a0 We will be focusing on asking and answering questions in literary text as well as analyzing character traits.<\/p>\n
Writing:\u00a0 Please check that your child has his or her opinion rough draft completed.\u00a0 It should include an introduction paragraph, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion paragraph.\u00a0 We will be using our writing checklist this week to analyze our drafts and work on improving them.<\/p>\n
