I hope everyone enjoyed the warmer temperatures this weekend and is getting ready to get back into a full week of school.\u00a0 Now that we are finished with NWEA testing, (just a few absent students need to do make-ups) we can get back to a normal schedule.\u00a0 We have library on Wednesday afternoon.\u00a0 Please make sure students have their library books.\u00a0 Wednesday is a late start.\u00a0 School begins at 9:35.\u00a0 There will be no school for Kindergarten on Friday and there will be a morning PTA meeting at 9am.<\/p>\n
Here is what will be happening this week.<\/p>\n
Math:\u00a0 We will be working on multiplication and division with word problems.\u00a0 \u00a0There will be a topic quiz on Thursday that will cover lessons 1-3.\u00a0 A review sheet will come home Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Science:\u00a0 We will investigate condensation by completing an investigation.<\/p>\n
Social Studies:\u00a0 We are studying economics.\u00a0 This week we will focus on choice, scarcity, and opportunity cost.<\/p>\n
Reading:\u00a0 We will focus on how the text and illustrations help us understand the mood of a story.<\/p>\n
