Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we start the school year, we would like to give you some very important information regarding your child\u2019s graduation requirements and eligibility to walk in the graduation ceremony. 
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beginning with the class of 2021 (current 12th graders<\/em><\/strong>), students who are missing credits at the time of graduation will not be allowed to walk with their class and participate in the graduation ceremony<\/strong>.  It will be required for all graduating seniors to have met all state and district graduation requirements by seniors\u2019 last day in May to participate in commencement.  Please note that this is a change from past years, where some seniors (needing 1 credit) could attend summer school were allowed to participate in commencement. 
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If your son or daughter is currently behind in credits, we encourage you to schedule a meeting with their counselor to devise an academic plan toward graduating on time.
