Good afternoon! Today we began an abbreviated version of Chapter 20 which explores the journey of early explorers to the “New World”. Since Christmas break was extended due to weather we will cover some of the big concepts for Chapter 20 and quiz only on vocabulary.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>SWD analysis of the materials covered in Chapter 5, World Religions, 11, 13, 14, 17, 18 and Vocabulary from Chapter 20 by preparing a structured study guide<\/span><\/p>\n

o\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Language Objective: <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Students will orally discuss and record their answers to questions aimed to gage their background knowledge of Christopher Columbus and his journey to the new world by completing a collaborative question activity <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span>Students will write answers to guided questions that require examination of the additional supporting resources\/information located within Chapter 20 by completing a Guided Tour activity<\/span><\/p>\n
