    Ms. Stafiej and Crunch are playing catch in our yard. You can play catch too, or take a walk around the block!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Practice “typing” your home phone number or parents phone numbers… it is SO important for your child to know your phone number in case of an emergency. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It is also a great way to help your child with number recognition \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Make a Fizzy Rainbow! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    You will need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • a tray or plate<\/li>
    • baking soda<\/li>
    • vinegar<\/li>
    • watercolor paint or food coloring<\/li>
    • droppers or spoons<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Pour baking soda onto the plate or tray. Mix watercolors or food coloring with different cups of vinegar. Using droppers or spoons have the children drop the vinegar onto the baking soda.Children can observe the chemical reaction between the baking soda and vinegar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Lunch Time<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Clean your spot after lunch, help to wash the dishes, clean up your toys and your room. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Quiet Time<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        Children have time to relax and \u201ccharge\u201d their bodies. If your child doesn\u2019t normally nap at home, they can read stories or do a quiet activity of your choice (no screens please!<\/strong><\/em>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

         5 to 10 minutes<\/td>Plan for Work Time:<\/strong>  Build your child\u2019s ability to organize their time by having them make a \u201cplan\u201d with you about what they would like to play with.  Children do this everyday with us at school. It helps children learn to organize their thoughts. Adults make plans all the time to organize their thoughts (shopping lists are made before going to the grocery store, to do lists are made to help plan your day etc..).  
        Kids will tell you what they are planning to do\/want to play with\/how they will use toys at home.
