Please review using Quizlet \u00a0on Google classroom .<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to the families that have signed up to bring in treats\/supplies for this Friday\u2019s Holiday Party.<\/p>\n<p>Remember that the Classroom Holiday Gift Exchange is this Friday, December 21st.\u00a0 If your child would like to participate they should bring in a new wrapped gift no more than $5.00.\u00a0 If your child is a boy, then they write \u201cTo Boy, From (Student\u2019s Name)\u201d on the wrapped gift.\u00a0 If your child is a girl, then they write \u201cTo Girl, From (Student\u2019s Name\u201d on the gift.\u00a0 This is optional, but if your child does not bring in a gift, he\/she will not receive a gift in exchange.<\/p>\n<p>This week is Snow Holiday Spirit Week:<\/p>\n<p>Monday \u2013 \u201cBaby it\u2019s cold outside\u201d- wear a winter hat and scarf<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday-\u201cSnow Day\u201d- wear Snow school apparel<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday-\u201cWhite Out\u201d- wear white like the winter snow and ice<\/p>\n<p>Thursday-\u201cSnowed In\u201d- wear your pajamas and slippers (follow dress code- no shorts or spaghetti strapped tank tops)<\/p>\n<p>Friday-\u201cHoliday Sweater Day\u201d- wear a festive or ugly sweater<\/p>\n<p>Students have completed their second iReady Diagnostic Test for reading in class last week.\u00a0 Students should have shown growth since the original test given the end of September.\u00a0 A report of your child\u2019s progress will be coming home tomorrow. Please go over the report with your child to see where they scored on this test.\u00a0 Sign and return the paper to school by Friday.\u00a0 I will send another copy home for you to keep once you\u2019ve returned the signed copy.<\/p>\n<p>I will not be giving specific homework over the holiday break.\u00a0 However, it is important that you continue to have your child read at home over the break.\u00a0 Students do NOT need to fill in their Reading Logs over the break, but they should be reading 20-30 minutes daily.During the break student should all still be going on Zearn and I ready so they do not fall behind . \u00a0Also, please continue to review basic multiplication facts at home with your child over the break.\u00a0 A great stocking stuffer is multiplication flashcards.\u00a0 Students were expected to have memorized their multiplication facts by the end of third grade. \u00a0Eureka Math program which is multi-digit multiplication and eventually division.\u00a0 If your child is struggling with their basic facts math will only become more difficult for them.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just s reminder we have a mid mod 2 test on Wednesday lesson 1-15. \u00a0Please use your exit tickets, homework and problem-solving \u00a0to review for the test.
