Ask your student to see their Book Bag and explain to you how to use it (See image and details below). Each bag contains a books appropriate to their challenge level, a response notebook, and a pen to write with. Students should be reading 30 minutes every night and writing a response or answer questions\u00a0 to their reading.<\/p>\n

Snow School is launching a Read at Home Plan. With our new Book Room, every Snow student will go home with \u201cGood Fit\u201d Books daily! \u201cGood fit\u201d books are books that are not too hard and not too easy. The expectation is that students improve their reading skills and develop a love for reading.<\/p>\n

Students must read daily and complete their reading responses provide my Ms. Sherlock. If question are not given that day they are required to choose a strategy from the front cover.<\/b><\/p>\n
Grades (K-1) 15+ minutes daily

Reading Logs- Signed daily by parents and checked by teachers.<\/b><\/p>\n
