Thank you for checking my blog. I will make a weekly post every Monday that will cover important things to know throughout the week. If something special arises, I will post them on my blog throughout the week.
\nThis year, all 5th graders at Snow will have 10 academic spelling words that follow a particular pattern and 5 content words that are specific to math, science, social studies, or language. There will NOT be any cold words on Friday\u2019s test.<\/p>\n

Our lunch is from 11:10-11:50, therefore our class will enjoy snack in the afternoon around 1:30. Students are allowed to bring a HEALTHY snack to enjoy in the afternoon.<\/p>\n

We will begin our switching of classes today for Science and Social Studies. We will go to Mr. DeSantis for Social Studies at a different time in the afternoon. Each session is approximately 40 minutes per subject area. Each student needs a folder and spiral notebook for each class.  
\nReminder that Open House is this Thursday, September 14th from 6:00-7:30 pm. Please come in to meet the teacher, see your child\u2019s classroom, and see how our classroom works!<\/p>\n
