For your research project, you will do a summarization of each cause of the Civil War in 1-2 slides.\u00a0 Your slides should include information and pictures (if possible).\u00a0 Create the presentation on Google Slides and share it with me.\u00a0 These will be due by the end of the day on Monday, June 4, 2018.<\/p>\n

The events\/topics you will need to summarize are:<\/p>\n

  2. The Dred Scott Case<\/li>\n
  3. The Abolitionist Movement<\/li>\n
  4. Abolitionist John Brown<\/li>\n
  5. Raid on Harper\u2019s Ferry<\/li>\n
  6. Slavery in America<\/li>\n
  7. Uncle Tom\u2019s Cabin<\/li>\n
  8. Southern Secession<\/li>\n
  9. Abraham Lincoln\u2019s Election in 1860<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Your presentation should be no less than 10 slides and no more than 20.\u00a0 Grammar, punctuation, and spelling will also be graded for this assignment, so review your work carefully before you submit.\u00a0 Make sure your graphics and colors chosen go with your font choice.\u00a0 It should be easy to read and neatly organized.\u00a0 This project should be of your own words and design.\u00a0 Do not copy and paste from the internet.\u00a0 This will be worth 50 summative points.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
