Our theme for the week is ANIMALS THEN AND NOW. \u00a0We\u2019ll begin with dinosaurs and sea turtles. Sea Turtles were here when the Dinosaurs roamed the Earth. Dinosaurs no longer live here but Sea Turtles still exist. \u00a0Hmmm???<\/p>\n<p>Vocabulary: endangered, extinct<\/p>\n<p>WRITING-We\u2019ll be using our\u00a0<strong>imaginations<\/strong>\u00a0to create sentences about how dinosaurs might help us if they were still here. \u00a0To get us started, we\u2019ll read a book titled\u00a0<b>\u201cIf the Dinosaurs Came Back.\u201d<\/b><\/p>\n<p>LETTERS-Review \u00a0 X x \u00a0 \u00a0W w \u00a0 V v \u00a0 G g<\/p>\n<p>WORDS-<strong>come \u00a0 away<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SPELLING-\u201cog\u201d word family \u00a0 \u00a09 words this week<\/p>\n<p><strong>dog \u00a0log \u00a0 fog \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>come \u00a0away \u00a0(<\/strong>new reading words this week)<\/p>\n<p><strong>has \u00a0look \u00a0 he \u00a0 she \u00a0(<\/strong>review words from the last 2 weeks)<\/p>\n<p>MATH-Clocks \u00a0 Money (coins) \u00a0and number families, We will also practice math facts (addition and subtraction).<\/p>\n<p>SCIENCE-Living and Non-Living Things<\/p>\n<p>SOCIAL STUDIES- We are identifying an issue and making a stand.
