We will discuss main topic of an informational story and recalling key details. We will identify fiction and non-fiction stories.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Writing <\/strong>We are learning about informational writing. We will write about Turkeys.&nbsp; The sentence stem will be: A turkey is a bird. It can__.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Language Arts<\/strong> Phonics: Letters Rr, Yy correct formation (always start from the top and write down), the sound and words that begin with that sound; Phonemic Awareness: Syllables, rhymes, beginning and ending sounds of a word,&nbsp; Sight word: it, is, in (review: I, can, see, like, the, a, look, at, in, go, to, it, has, come, we, and)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Math<\/strong> We will be counting numbers 0-50. We will also be counting by 10\u2019s to 100. We will review about positional words: above, below, next to, in front of, beside, behind. We will also review about solid shapes (3-dimensional): cube, sphere, cone, cylinder. I will assess what your child knows this week.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Social Studies <\/strong>We will learn about thing people want.
