This week is going to be fun, fun, fun! We will:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reading: We listen to stories titled: Chicka Chicka Boom Boom; Alphabet Mystery; ABC Jamboree; Shiver me letters; Alphabet tree. With each of these stories your child will have to recall one part from the story and draw a picture in their reading response journal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reading vocabulary: author, title, character<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Writing: We will practice drawing a boy and a girl. This will be their character. They will have a chance to add a detail to their character. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Writing vocabulary: writing<\/strong> is telling a story on paper<\/p>\n\n\n\n Math: We were practicing sorting by categories. We will now sort and count categories. We will even create our own categories. We will practice counting and writing numbers 0-5. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Math vocabulary: classify, sort, count<\/p>\n\n\n\n Social Studies: We will practice routines and expectations daily. We created a set of rules that we review and are expected to follow We will learn about being fair and sharing.
