I hope everyone had a restful break.<\/p>\n<p>This week in kindergarten we will learn:<\/p>\n<p><b>Reading<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are learning about making a news years learning goal. We will learn to identify characters and 2-3 traits about the main character. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Language Arts<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are learning about the beginning blend: th-, Sight words: here, you. \u00a0\u00a0We are also learning about long vowel a<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Writing<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will learn about opinion writing. We will state our opinion about how we feel about snow. Students can write: I like snow because__. I do not like snow because___. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Math<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are learning about creating sets\/groups We will count and compare groups using pictures and objects. We will discuss more than one, less than one and equal to\/same as. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Social Studies<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will be investigating timelines. We will present our personal picture timelines. This was in your child&#8217;s homework.
