We will write about where the live, how they look and what they eat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spelling:<\/strong> There is no spelling test this week but we will cover these words:\u00a0 smog, hog, fog, jog, dog, frog, log, blog<\/p>\n<p><strong>Math:<\/strong>\u00a0Calculators- We will explore and learn to use them in addition and subtraction practice models<\/p>\n<p><strong>Social Studies:<\/strong> We will review maps and globes. We will compare both and discuss how they are alike and how they are different.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>School reminders:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No spelling test this week<\/li>\n<li>No homework packet but to read 20 minutes nightly<\/li>\n<li>There will be no more reading bags so read books you have at home- we will continue doing reading groups but no more books are going home<\/li>\n<li>There will be no school on Friday, May 25th and Monday, May 28th for Memorial Day weekend<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Field trip reminders:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We will be leaving Howard at 9:10<\/li>\n<li>We will be leaving the Village at 1:45<\/li>\n<li>Children are expected to ride the bus there and and back from the trip.<\/li>\n<li>Please pack a lunch for your child in disposable bags<\/li>\n<li>Please dress appropriately for the weather and have a good pair of walking shoes because there is a lot of walking.<\/li>\n<li>Chaperones check in with me at the gate, so I can give your list of kids and the scavenger hunt as well as my contact information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Happy Monday!<\/p>\n<p>Ms. Mohamed<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week will be a short fun week!
