Our sentence starter will be: One time,___.<\/p>\n<p>Areas of focus in writing-<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>when to put a period. (no more run on sentences. Period means to stop and start with a capital letter for the new sentence.<\/li>\n<li>when writing a story, just write one story and add details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Math: we will be compare items and numbers. Compare items and numbers using math vocabulary how much more than, less than and same as.\u00a0 Using a ruler to control and directly match its pair to see if we have enough. We will be having a math fact test next week.<\/p>\n<p>Things to focus on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>addition<\/li>\n<li>subtraction<\/li>\n<li>count by 1-100, 5&#8217;s to 100, 10&#8217;s to 100<\/li>\n<li>count how many objects, ten frames, tally marks, scatter dots,<\/li>\n<li>count on from a given number<\/li>\n<li>comparing numbers (&lt;,&gt;,=)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Social Studies:<\/p>\n<p>We are exploring and identifying important parts of a map and globe.
