Here is a recap on what we did:<\/p>\n<p>We read multiple stories such as David goes to school, Birdie goes to school, Curious George first day at school and Pigeon needs a bath.<\/p>\n<p>We discussed what a character is.<\/p>\n<p>We discussed behavior in school.<\/p>\n<p>We also practiced calendar procedure and practiced some counting games.<\/p>\n<p>We explored our book boxes &#8211;\u00a0one essential component in our Daily 5 structure and we will further discuss when and how to use them next week.<\/p>\n<p>We practiced routine and structure in the classroom, at our school and on the playground. We will continue to practice the procedures expected in school next week as well.
