Each story focuses on how plants and flowers grow and what they look like.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spelling:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>bit<\/p>\n<p>fit<\/p>\n<p>hit<\/p>\n<p>kit<\/p>\n<p>lit<\/p>\n<p>pit<\/p>\n<p>slit<\/p>\n<p>red<\/p>\n<p>yellow<\/p>\n<p>blue<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grammar:<\/strong> Adjectives: to describe something<\/p>\n<p><strong>Writing:<\/strong> We will be using adjectives to describe a specific flower. We will work on one flower on Tuesday and the writing sample should come home as usual. On Wednesday, your child is expected to choose a different flower and write a description in the same format of the writing on Tuesday. The sentence stem are: \u00a0___ have___. ___are ___. ___has____.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Math:<\/strong> We ware learning about clocks and telling time to the nearest hour. We are also learning about a function machine. What is the rule is I put a number in the machine and a different number comes out.
