(Not at the end of a line)<\/li>\n<li>Spacing between words<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Letter of the Week: Tt<\/p>\n<p>Sight word of the Week: See<\/p>\n<p>Writing: We will introduce Informational writing. It is writing that gives us information. The focus this time around will be description. We will name the topic (which is a type of vehicle) and write a description (color and\/or size). The sentence stem: I see a ___. It is ___.<\/p>\n<p>Math: We will introduce the pan balance. We will discuss greater or less than. We will be introduced to non-standard measurement using cubes or other manipulatives to practice what measuring looks like. Practice number 1-30 (or higher).<\/p>\n<p>Social Studies: We will discuss what people need to survive: food, water, shelter, clothes etc.<\/p>\n<p>REMINDERS:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Picture Retakes are scheduled for Wednesday, November 16th.<\/li>\n<li>Late Start is Wednesday, November 16th. School will start one hour later at 9:30.<\/li>\n<li>Our school is collecting food for the needy and less fortunate. Last day to collect would be Monday, November 21.<\/li>\n<li>There will be no school Wednesday, November 23 to Friday, November 25 due to Holiday.
