We will create one. We will discuss and write about multiple activities we do with mom.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em><strong>C.A.F.E. Strategies:<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Comprehension:<\/strong> Re-reading our writing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accuracy:<\/strong> blending words to make sounds, Rhyme<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fluency:<\/strong> Long and short vowels<\/p>\n<p><strong>Expanding Vocabulary:<\/strong> Spacing between words, punctuation<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spelling:<\/strong>\u00a0where, me, Dad, bad, had, mad, \u00a0lad, glad (and 2 cold words from the -ad family)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Math:<\/strong> We will continue to be working hard on the <strong>missing addend<\/strong>. It will look like this :<\/p>\n<p>3 +__= 8<\/p>\n<p>5 &#8211; __= 3<\/p>\n<p>We will also continue to review adding and subtracting number problems within 15. It would look like this:<\/p>\n<p>13 +2=<\/p>\n<p>It could be viewed as 10 +3+2= 15, always make a ten and add more to it!<\/p>\n<p>We will also learn about adding doubles and then doubles plus one.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Science:<\/strong> We are continuing to investigate solid, liquid and gases. We will also continue our documentation of our plants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Social Studies:<\/strong> We are still participating in <em>Make Our School Green Campaign<\/em>. We will continue to collect soda pop cans \u00a0or bottles to be deposited. We will then give the money to our representatives to plant flowers in front of Howard.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>REMINDERS:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our Mother&#8217;s Day celebration is on Friday, May 6th at 9:15. Please do not be late. If you can not come in, send a grandma or an aunt.<\/li>\n<li>Field Trip information will be discussed on Friday!<\/li>\n<li>This week, we are NWEA testing in math.<\/li>\n<li>Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather. Friday was chilly some friends did not have a sweater. Its easier to take off layers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Thank you for your support!
