Strategies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>COMPREHENSION:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Visualize,\u00a0<\/em><em>Identify Setting, Main Idea and Detail<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ACCURACY:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CVC words, orally blending words presented in syllable segments.<\/li>\n<li>SPELLING WORDS-We\u2019ll work with the \u201c<strong>an\u201d<\/strong> family.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0 \u00a0ban \u00a0 tan \u00a0 plan \u00a0 man \u00a0and \u00a0 what \u00a0 season<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>FLUENCY\/EXPANDING VOCABULARY:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Adjectives:<\/strong> describing words<\/li>\n<li><strong>WORDS-and \u00a0 \u00a0What \u00a0 what<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>LETTERS<\/strong>: Bb Ll<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>WRITING-<\/strong> We will write about our favorite season and supporting details<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SCIENCE:\u00a0<\/strong><em>Seasons \u00a0 \u00a0Weather \u00a0 \u00a0Temperature<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>MATH:\u00a0<\/strong>graphing several things<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>continuing to add and subtract fluently from 0-20<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>SOCIAL STUDIES:\u00a0<\/strong>Working in Groups on posters about\u00a0<em>Seasons<\/em>\u00a0(cooperation and team building).<\/p>\n<p>**<strong>HOME PROJECT<\/strong>** \u00a0Your child is to make a\u00a0<strong>diorama<\/strong> about a\u00a0<strong>season<\/strong> and an activity one can do in that season. \u00a0They can choose any season.\u00a0I sent home a note last week. If you did not receive this note please refer to previous post.<\/p>\n<p>This\u00a0<strong>Home Project\u00a0<\/strong>will be due next Friday, Feb., 26. \u00a0You can start working on this right away so the project will be completed on time.
