We will write I can statements on flower petals to demonstrate how much we have learned thus far. We will create a draft in our journals. We will write 5 sentences making 5 petals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Spelling words<\/strong>: dad, mad, \u00a0sad, had, where, they, up, down, jump, make<\/p>\n<p><strong>Math:<\/strong> we will continue addition and subtraction problems. Make sure your child is being careful what the symbol represents. I have been giving them addition and subtraction sheets mixed up. We will also continue counting by 5&#8217;s, 10&#8217;s and 2&#8217;s. We have been practicing to count on from any number 0-100.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Science:<\/strong> We are exploring the lifecycle of a butterfly. ie. egg &gt; caterpillar&gt; pupa &gt; butterfly<\/p>\n<p><strong>Social Studies:<\/strong> we will learning about Memorial day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reminders:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Last day for check out from the library would be Wednesday, May 20th<\/li>\n<li>There will be no school on Friday, May 22 and Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day<\/li>\n<li>We are running low on snacks.
