{"id":1066,"date":"2020-04-19T11:26:24","date_gmt":"2020-04-19T15:26:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/msmccuaig\/?p=1066"},"modified":"2020-04-19T11:26:27","modified_gmt":"2020-04-19T15:26:27","slug":"new-grading-policy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/msmccuaig\/2020\/04\/19\/new-grading-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"New Grading Policy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Hello!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have the approved grading policy from Dr. Malayko. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h.ug91v7fr94ie\"><strong>Dearborn Public Schools Parent\/Student Grading Information<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h.nudym1ra3cmf\"><strong>During the Continuity of Learning<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Individual teachers will be responsible for assessing student progress and providing feedback.&nbsp;<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>Assignments will be graded and entered in MiStar. &nbsp;Work completed prior to April 20th that demonstrates a student\u2019s mastery of learning will count toward his\/her grade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h.og0nmwpu9ccx\"><strong>Elementary Assessment and Grading Guidelines<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>For this marking period, students will receive feedback on weekly assignments in the form of narrative comments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Meeting<\/strong>: &nbsp;regularly submitted work and attended check-ins<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Accuracy of work assessed on standards\/graded<\/li><li>High participation<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Progressing: &nbsp;<\/strong>Submitted most assignments and attended some of the check-ins<\/li><li><strong>Limited Participation: &nbsp;<\/strong>little or no participation due to circumstances shared with teacher<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Please\u00a0contact your Mrs. Waddell or myself if you have any questions about this grading procedure or need further information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Happy Learning!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello!
