Week One at a Glance<\/strong>:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activity One:<\/strong> Due Date Wednesday March 18th <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Creating your name using Inspired Fancy Lettering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students can google where “Lettering”<\/em> can be viewed as artwork such as Calligraphy,<\/em> Graphic Designed Fonts<\/em> for print material, signage, illustrations, posters, etc. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get Creative!!<\/strong> You may use whatever you have at home, for example, pencil, ink pen, scissors to cut away and make name, etc<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please upload the photo of work to google classroom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Activity Two:<\/strong> Due Date Friday March 20th<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) : Definition Following Below<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students will discuss an artwork\/ image that will be seen in google classroom and complete assignment using VTS Curriculum<\/em><\/strong> to answer three main questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. What do you see in the Picture?<\/em><\/li>
  2. What makes you say that?<\/em><\/li>
  3. What else can you find in the Picture?<\/em><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n
    • VTS: EMPLOYS CRITICAL THINKING BY<\/strong><\/em><\/li>
    • Looking at Art Images to Predict, Infer, Analyze, or Conclude with facts and evidence seen. <\/li>
    • Creating a memory bank that utilizes critical thought to expose possible meanings and connections to background knowledge.<\/li>
    • Engages students to discuss and chat about what is seen in academic manner.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
