Students are expected to:<\/em><\/strong><ul><li>Attend all weekly Google Hangout sessions (class video chat). Our first one is THIS WEEK.<\/li><li>Complete all assignments.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>The current semester will continue until:<ul><li>June 11th for grades 9-11.<\/li><li>May 21st, 2020 for seniors.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>ASSIGNMENTS<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>New art assignment will be posted every Monday, and will be due by the end of that week.<\/li><li>Assignments for Drawing &amp; Painting class will be delivered through:<ul><li><strong>iBlog<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>ilearn<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Google Hangouts<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Google Hangouts<\/strong> (group video chat) will help us:<ul><li>Continue as a class group<\/li><li>ensure student attendance and engagement<\/li><li>reinforce learning<\/li><li>answer questions<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Email<\/strong> and the <strong>Remind App<\/strong> will help us communicate throughout each week.<\/li><li><em>ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE HANDED IN <\/em>in <strong>ilearn.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>GRADING<\/em><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Google Hangout sessions (weekly) will be given a <strong><em>1 or 0 point<\/em><\/strong> value (attended\/not attended).<\/li><li>Class assignments will be assessed using Standard-based grading (4 point scale).<ul><li>Art content will be assessed based on <strong><em>MASTERY<\/em><\/strong> and <strong><em>PROFICIENCY<\/em><\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>END OF SEMESTER GRADE: Based on the newly approved Dearborn Public Schools <strong><em>Continuity of Learning Plan<\/em><\/strong>, high school teachers are allowed to give one of these three final grades in a class: <strong>A<\/strong>, <strong>G<\/strong>, <strong>N<\/strong>. Final Class Grades will be based on the following:<ul><li>A : <strong><em>3 points or higher average<\/em><\/strong> in the class. This means that you will get credit for this class and the A will be averaged into your GPA.<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>G : <strong><em>1 point to 2.99 points average<\/em><\/strong> in the class. G means you will get credit for this class but your grade will not be averaged into your GPA.<\/li><li>N : <strong><em>less than 1 point average<\/em><\/strong> in the class.
