It is very important that during these weeks away we still continue to work on our goals and objectives and help our students maintain all the progress they have achieved so far this year. We realize that online learning every day may not be appropriate for our student population, however we will posting some websites and YouTube video links on class dojo that your students could watch or interact with throughout the next few weeks. In addition, we spent the entire morning on Friday putting together a packet of work for your child to complete while we are away from school. In these packets you will find many reading activities to work on comprehension, sight word and letter work, writing, number identification, computation worksheets and other math and ela practice. In addition, there is two science chapter texts about light and sound and two social studies text about world war 2 and the war on terror. Please have your student read the chapters a few times, after they are familiar with the chapter they have comprehension questions to answer as well as a multiple choice quiz. Each chapter should take a few days to complete.

Finally, Ms. Cook included a packet for gym so that your child still has some Physical activity throughout the break. If you have any questions at all about these packets please don’t hesitate to message us. These packets were sent in the mail today so you should be receiving them soon.

We also included a social story about the corona virus to read with your student to help them better understand what is going on.

We wish you and your family a safe and healthy few weeks. Again please let us know if you have any questions. We will be posting to class dojo a few times each week. Please comment and let us know how it is going and if we can help in any way!

HERE IS THE 2019-2020 SCHOOL DISTRICT CALENDAR = 2019-2020 Calendar 2019-2020 Calendar Translated Text

REMINDER***

This is a reminder that Stout Middle School Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday November 11th from 4:00-700 pm and Wednesday November 13th from 4:00-7:00 pm.
