Please continue helping your child write their first and last name at home.\u00a0 We began writer’s workshop and are learning how to draw a picture and label it or write about it.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Math<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0We began learning about shapes and will continue to work on them next week.<\/p>\n Social \u00a0Studies <\/strong>\u00a0We are learning the classroom and school rules and practicing being a good citizen at school.<\/p>\n Science \u00a0<\/strong>We finished our unit on the 5 senses.\u00a0 We became scientists today.\u00a0 We asked questions, made a hypothesis, and did experiments with apples to test our hypothesis.<\/p>\n Folders<\/strong><\/p>\n Please make sure to\u00a0empty\u00a0<\/strong>the green folders each night! It is very difficult and time consuming to locate homework or important notes when the folder is full of papers from the day before.
