Reading\/writing\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0We worked on the letter Ll\u00a0 We are learning to recognize the letter, write it correctly and learning\u00a0 it\u2019s sound.\u00a0 We are learning to write by drawing a picture and labeling it.\u00a0 We are learning to stretch out our words and write down the sounds we hear. Please help your child to\u00a0 listen for the beginning sounds of the words when they are writing at home.\u00a0 Please keep the ABC chart out when you are practicing writing with your child.\u00a0 It shows how to write all of the capital and lowercase letters.<\/p>\n

Math<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 We will continue working on counting and classifying and sorting object with similar characteristics.<\/p>\n

Social \u00a0Studies\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0We are learning about needs and wants.<\/p>\n

Science\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0We are learning about weather and next week will track and record the weather for an entire week.<\/p>\n

Now that the cold weather is here please send dry shoes for your child to change into if they are wearing boots to school.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please make sure to\u00a0empty\u00a0<\/strong>the green folders each night! It is very difficult and time consuming to locate homework or important notes when the folder is full of papers from the day before. Remember to initial the communication log and feel free to add any notes to me!<\/p>\n

Please help your child to l;earn how to put on their coat and zip it by themselves.\u00a0 Remember, to teach them how to tie their shoes or send them to school in velcro shoes<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
