Reading\/writing\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0We worked on the letter Mm.\u00a0 We are learning to recognize the letter, write it correctly and learning\u00a0 it\u2019s sound. We are also learning how to write our first and last name.\u00a0 We are learning to write by drawing a picture and labeling it. Please help your child to practice writing their name at home. Please keep the ABC chart out when you are practicing writing with your child.\u00a0 It shows how to write all of the capital and lowercase letters.<\/p>\n

Math<\/strong>\u00a0 \u00a0 We will continue working on numbers from 0-10 and shapes.<\/p>\n

Social \u00a0Studies\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0We are learning about why we have rules, why they are important and being a good citizen.<\/p>\n

Science\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0We are learning\u00a0 about pushes and pulls.\u00a0 We are doing experiments in our classroom.<\/p>\n

Please make sure to\u00a0empty\u00a0<\/strong>the green folders each night! It is very difficult and time consuming to locate homework or important notes when the folder is full of papers from the day before. Remember to initial the communication log and feel free to add any notes to me!<\/p>\n

Please help your child to l;earn how to put on their coat and zip it by themselves.\u00a0 Remember, to teach them how to tie their shoes or send them to school in velcro shoes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
