Hello Howe Families. I hope everyone is healthy, happy, and had some time to enjoy the summer!\u00a0 As we begin this new school year, I know everyone has a lot of questions and concerns on how everything will look with changes due to the Covid-19 pandemic.\u00a0 As information is provided, I will be sure to share it with you all!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The beginning of our school year, we will be completely virtual. Daily<\/strong> school hours will be 8:15-3:10<\/strong>, with half days<\/strong> ending at 11:10<\/strong>.\u00a0 The first week of school, August 31st-September 3rd are all half day<\/strong>.\u00a0 There is no school September 4th and September 7th<\/strong> for the Labor Day weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n The district will be offering in person \u201cLearning labs\u201d <\/strong>which will begin the week of September 21st.\u00a0 I will be reaching out to all my families next week for more information and scheduling time sessions.\u00a0 \u201cLearning labs\u201d will run daily with a morning session and an afternoon session.\u00a0 Each student will be allowed to attend either the am or pm session daily. Each session will be 2.5 hours and busing will be provided.\u00a0 I am very excited about the beginning of our school year, along with the future opportunity of\u201cLearning labs,\u201d I cannot wait to work face-to-face with the students in small individualized groups! \ud83d\ude42\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you have any questions and\/or concerns please feel free to e-mail (roskelm@dearbornschools.org) Call, or Text me!
