Since our spring weather is finally hear and Mr. Sun keeps coming out to play it would be nice to get outside and have some water play. You can fill a large container with water, add some soap for bubble play, add food coloring if you have it, and little objects or toys from around the house! Let the kids explore by splashing in the water, making bubbles, and finding toys that are hidden at the bottom of the bin. If you cant get outside you can make a sensory bin that appropriate for inside play. Instead of water, soap, and food coloring use dry or cooked pasta, dry beans, or uncooked rice to hide the toys in a bin. Once your child find the hidden objects you can count them or talk about its attributes such as the shape or color. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"836\" height=\"627\" src=\"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/mrsroskelly\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3042\/2020\/04\/jamosensory.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-529\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/mrsroskelly\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3042\/2020\/04\/jamosensory.jpg 836w, https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/mrsroskelly\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3042\/2020\/04\/jamosensory-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/mrsroskelly\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3042\/2020\/04\/jamosensory-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 836px) 100vw, 836px\" \/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Start the morning out with Mrs. Melissa for our Daily Morning Meeting.
