There are a few forms that need to be turned in this week if they apply to your child: chess club permission slip and instrumental form (with $70 check or cash if you are renting an instrument from the school). The Haigh spirit wear order forms are due by September 30th. The Haigh PTA is also sponsoring a box top\/dimes collection. Box tops or dimes should be placed in an envelope with the homeroom teacher’s name on it. Also, some students took construction paper and are designing posters for our Haigh Habit 1 – “Begin with the End in Mind.” There is a form that needs to be attached to the back of the poster. These are due by September 27th and can be placed in the box in the Media Center. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our first PBIS monthly celebration will take place on Thursday, September 26th. It will be outdoor yard games. I am happy to say that our class has excellent behavior and all will be participating on that day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Some assignments that are due this week: ReadWorks “article-a-day” (by September 25th), reading responses (by September 27th) – should have a minimum of 4 responses by that time, ReadWorks “What a Dump” article (by September 25th).
