Hello on a snowy Wednesday!!!<\/p>\n

This week has been another busy one! \u00a0We are off on Friday, February 12 and Monday, February 15 for mid-winter break!! \u00a0Our Valentine’s party is Thursday, February 11 from 2:00-3:00. \u00a0I am keeping this party very simple-the class wrote their letter about the cupcake they would like to create for tomorrow!! \u00a0I loved getting the letters-the class did a great job:-) \u00a0I am keeping the party to just our class and the homeroom parents:-) \u00a0The students may bring in a treat and a valentine-I sent home a class list of student names for the class to copy. \u00a0The students will be working on President reports over the break for strategy group homework. \u00a0They did a wonderful job on their biography reports!!! \u00a0We are also collecting data for animal reports and will complete those next week!! \u00a0Our spelling test is tomorrow and our spelling words are: \u00a0root, chew, clue, canoe, fruit, those, always, because, there, before and the bonus word is valentine. \u00a0<\/strong>Please have your child study these words tonight!! \u00a0If you have signed up to be a chaperone for our science center field trip-please be sure to have a background check on file at the office. \u00a0You need to see Mrs. Corrigan to complete this form. \u00a0Stay warm and Happy Valentine’s Day!!! \u00a0<3 <3<\/p>\n
