Spelling Words–fun, sun, bun, me, help, red (*challenge words are funny and uncle)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Language Arts–we are wrapping up our current narrative unit; last week we studied Jan Brett books and this week we will take a peek at Eric Carle books; the sight word for the week is “no”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Math–with those snow days we certainly didn’t get too far last week so this week we will be working on lessons 18-22; I strongly encourage using XtraMath and Zearn at home to reinforce our addition equations. You can also visit other websites to practice addition and subtraction facts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Science–continuing with our Weather unit<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Social Studies–continuing with our Who Am I unit; we will start to learn that we all have a past; please send in a baby photo of your child by next Monday, March 9th<\/strong>; these will be cut and glued<\/p>\n\n\n\n Our music concert will be next Thursday, March 12th. Students are to be lined up at their lockers by 6:20 then parents will head down to the auditorium to take their seats. Unfortunately I cannot be here that evening as my youngest son has an event at his school. I’m sure they will do a GREAT job!<\/p>\n\n\n\n This Friday, March 6th is Bingo For Books beginning at 6 pm in the cafeteria. $3 per player. Pizza available for $1. PTA meeting for this week has been moved to March 10th at 7 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For your planning….half day on Friday, March 13th.
