{"id":3181,"date":"2020-03-14T08:08:10","date_gmt":"2020-03-14T12:08:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/mrskubert\/?p=3181"},"modified":"2020-03-16T13:58:22","modified_gmt":"2020-03-16T17:58:22","slug":"at-home-learning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/mrskubert\/2020\/03\/14\/at-home-learning\/","title":{"rendered":"At Home Learning"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>During these unprecedented times we are doing our best as a\ndistrict to navigate how instruction will be provided moving forward.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the biggest things we work on throughout the day is\nattending to instruction and choice making.&nbsp; You can reinforce these\nskills at home by providing your child opportunities to make choices (show them\ntwo different books and have them select the one they would like to read, give\nthem two options for a snack and let them chose, have them select from two\ndifferent toys which they would prefer, etc.)&nbsp; Furthermore, we use the\ncore vocabulary communication board throughout our day to communicate and make\nchoices as well.
