We will be building a lot of things using what you have around the house.  &#8220;Junk&#8221; or recyclable items are exactly what you will need.  Some ideas are:<br>     -egg cartons<br>     -cardboard<br>     -plastic containers (yogurt cups, coffee cans, coffee creamer bottles, etc&#8230;)<br>     -newspapers<br>     -milk jugs<br>     -bottle tops<br>     -carboard tubes from toilet paper and paper towel rolls<br>     -pop bottles\/cans<br>     -netting\/bags from onions and oranges<br>     -broken toys (can be used for parts)<br>     -craft materials<br>     -anything you think can be reused in an interesting way!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background has-light-green-cyan-background-color\">Check out my last blog post, &#8220;Hey, That&#8217;s My Monster!&#8221; for your first STEAM at Home lesson.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background has-light-green-cyan-background-color\">Make sure you comment on this blog or email Mrs. Kessel (kesseld@dearbornschools.org) to check in with me, and be sure to send me pictures and videos of your creations!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please start collecting materials to do STEAM at home.
