Smith School: NO Halloween Costumes on Monday, October 31st"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dear Parents and Students,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This is just a reminder that Halloween costumes of any kind are NOT permitted at O.L. Smith on Halloween Day, Monday, October 31.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>This also means that no masks or accessories that restrict movement or vision, prevent sitting at desks, or prevent participation in physical education class or\u00a0obstruct movement in the hallways.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Students should not bring makeup or hair products to school. \u00a0Anyone found with those items will have them confiscated. They will not be returned.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Gum and candy are\u00a0not permitted\u00a0in the building, as usual. \u00a0Please save your trick-or treating for the evening.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Students are encouraged to wear orange and black to have a little fun and to get into the \u201cspirit of the day\u201d!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please follow the school dress code, outlined in the student handbook. \u00a0We will treat Monday as a regular school day where LEARNING is our focus and students are expected to fully participate in each class throughout the day.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Parents and Students, This is just a reminder that Halloween costumes of any kind are NOT permitted at O.L.
