{"id":282,"date":"2017-09-20T12:41:13","date_gmt":"2017-09-20T16:41:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/mrsharrison\/?p=282"},"modified":"2017-09-20T12:41:13","modified_gmt":"2017-09-20T16:41:13","slug":"week-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/mrsharrison\/2017\/09\/20\/week-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Week 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wow, I can&#8217;t believe we are already half way through week 3 of school!\u00a0 The children are learning so much!<\/p>\n<p>This week we are learning the following:<\/p>\n<p>Reading: We are looking for key details in our stories.\u00a0 We are focusing on who are the characters and what is the problem in the story.<\/p>\n<p>Writing:\u00a0 We are learning how to add details to our drawings and how to label our pictures.<\/p>\n<p>Letters:\u00a0 We are learning how to write the letters A and T.<\/p>\n<p>Sight Words: I and A<\/p>\n<p>Math: We are learning about counting by 1&#8217;s and 10&#8217;s and also number quantity.<\/p>\n<p>Social Studies:\u00a0 We are learning about rules and why are they important.<\/p>\n<p>Science: We are learning about our 5 senses (sight, hearing, taste, touch, and smell.)<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Field trip permission slips are dues by Tuesday, September 26th.<\/h3>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>This Friday, there will be no school for all Kindergarteners.<\/strong><\/h1>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wow, I can&#8217;t believe we are already half way through week 3 of school!\u00a0 The children are learning so much!
