Supply List<\/h1>\n<\/header>\n
Welcome to Third Grade! \u00a0I\u2019m looking forward to meeting your child! <\/p>\n

The Dearborn Public Schools will provide your students will all books, supplies, and materials necessary for the upcoming school year. \u00a0However, parents and students are welcome to voluntarily provide additional supplies we use on a regular basis.<\/i><\/p>\n

The following is a suggested list of school supplies:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Thin markers (8 pack)<\/li>\n
  • Colored pencils (12 pack)<\/li>\n
  • 16-24 count crayons (NOT a box of 64, please)<\/li>\n
  • 1 school box to hold markers, crayons, colored pencils (9\u00d76 size-no larger)<\/li>\n
  • 3-4 packages of #2 pencils (Dixon or Ticonderoga\u2014no plastic coated pencils, please)<\/li>\n
  • 2 packs of dry erase markers (EXPO)<\/li>\n
  • 6 glue sticks<\/li>\n
  • 1-2 highlighters<\/li>\n
  • 1 pair of scissors<\/li>\n
  • 4 \u00a0COMPOSITION notebooks (NOT spiral)<\/li>\n
  • 1 ruler with inches and centimeters<\/li>\n
  • 2 rolls of clear tape with plastic dispenser<\/li>\n
  • 2 large boxes of Kleenex or other brand tissue<\/li>\n
  • 1 ream of copier paper<\/li>\n
  • 1 1-inch binder (no larger)<\/li>\n
  • 1 pack of sticky notes (post-it) any size<\/li>\n
  • 1 box of Clorox wipes OR 1 box of Ziploc sandwich bags (gallon)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The students in my class keep a pencil box in their desks with the following items inside: crayons, markers, colored pencils, 1 dry erase marker, pencil sharpener, 1 glue stick, 1 eraser, 1 roll of tape, scissors. 1 highlighter, 2 pencils and a pen. \u00a0Their binder (with dividers), 4\u00a0composition\u00a0notebooks, and their rulers are also kept in their desks at all times. \u00a0Any extra supplies from the Supply List are kept in a\u00a0shoebox (in each student\u2019s own\u00a0locker). \u00a0Copier\u00a0paper, tissues, wipes and bags are put in a classroom \u201cstash\u201d for our classroom community to use throughout the year.<\/p>\n
