Please sign in at the office and then come to our classroom. You can place your orders online at <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/scholastic.com\/readingclub\"><b>scholastic.com\/bookclubs<\/b><\/a><b> using my class activation code: RKYTJ. \u00a0The books are very low in price, which is a great way to build your child\u2019s library at home and it\u2019s FREE shipping!<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Happy Reading,<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Mrs. Fillmore<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Other:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NWEA testing is officially over!\u00a0 \u00a0I will be sending home your child&#8217;s results the 2nd week of June ( I am still DRA testing).\u00a0 The growth each child made is quite remarkable!\u00a0 If you notice your child didn&#8217;t make as much growth from Fall to Spring in Reading and or Math, please use these areas to work on over the summer.\u00a0 It will better prepare them for 1st grade!<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Out of 22 students today, who took their LAST spelling test,\u00a0 18 received a 100% and 4 students only missed 1 to 2 \u00a0words!! This is a TOTAL victory! Way to go to my students and parents who worked so hard to ensure their child was successful for the Friday spelling test! \u00a0I will send the booklet home on Monday for you all to see how your child did:). <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Remember, to look over your child\u2019s spelling test booklet, sign on the line and return the booklet in the green folder the very next day (TUESDAY)! \u00a0It is imperative I receive them all back the next day!<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0Thank you!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Please note, all spelling and math tests will be counted for on your child&#8217;s report card. \u00a0It is imperative to continue to study with your child on a daily basis. Thank you for your continued support and cooperation in this matter!<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Out of 22 students today, we had 16 students receive a 100% on their LAST math quiz -8! \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><b>If your child is not performing at 70% or above, I suggest making flash cards for your child to practice at home with<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">! \u00a0Way to go to my 16 students. \u00a0I am so proud of you!!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">LAST CALL!!!\u00a0 Please consider buying something from our Scholastic Book Club at: scholastic.com\/bookclubs Activation code: RKYTJ. \u00a0Our LAST due date for book orders will be Friday, June 1st. This month\u2019s celebration theme is A Day of Play. We will be having our lunch outside and enjoying outdoor play, so let\u2019s hope the weather stays pleasant!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Your child may bring a towel or blanket to sit on during the picnic lunch, and we strongly encourage students bring a brown bag lunch since we will be eating outside.
