Slime Mr. Short Challenge:<\/strong>\u00a0 Today, we witnessed Mr. Short getting slime’d by all of the wonderful Haigh students.\u00a0 This reward was an incentive for all students to work hard and do their best on the winter MAP test!\u00a0 If grade levels exceeded 75% in both math and reading, students were able to slime Mr. Short.\u00a0 We are happy to announce that the Kindergarten grade level scored 80% in both math and reading and were able to participate in the challenge!\u00a0 Here are the pictures from today…ENJOY (we sure did;))!!<\/p>\n

What we did during our week:<\/b><\/p>\n

Language Arts<\/b>: We worked on -ed \u00a0words and onset and rime. We have officially learned all the letters of the alphabet! \u00a0<\/span>Spelling words to study for next week: <\/span>List 14: where, out, now, sip, lip, dip, slip, ship, and chip. <\/b>\u00a0<\/b>\u00a0<\/b>Please practice the extra cold -ip words, as there will be a cold word for number 10 on the test! \u00a0<\/span>Extra words: grip, tip,rip. \u00a0<\/i><\/b>Our 14th test will be Friday, April 13th.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
