you<3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello everyone,<\/p>\n<p>I would just like to take a moment to thank all of my families for an incredible year!\u00a0 It has been an absolute pleasure working alongside all of you, ensuring your child&#8217;s success together!\u00a0 I will forever remember our time together and hope nothing but the best for your child in the future!\u00a0 Thank you to all my families for your support and involvement all year long!\u00a0 It means a lot&lt;3<\/p>\n<p>My wish for all of you this summer is to take time to relax, reflect and prepare your child to be successful for the years ahead!\u00a0 We sure had a great thing this year and I will forever cherish our time together.\u00a0 I am always an email away&#8230;Have a WONDERFUL summer!<\/p>\n<p>Love, Mrs. Fillmore<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>&#8220;Summer\u00a0 Packet&#8221;:\u00a0 I saw this online and thought it was GREAT!\u00a0 I revamped it a little and added some ideas as well:)\u00a0 Enjoy!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teach your child to tie their shoes.\u00a0 Find a fun trick, watch a video, give an incentive and be persistent!<\/li>\n<li>Keep bedtime in the routine!\u00a0 If we keep our bodies in a routine with sleep, August won&#8217;t be so hard!<\/li>\n<li>Choose a few family members or friends for your child to write a letter to this summer.\u00a0 Ask your child to write in full, complete sentences,\u00a0 use punctuation, spell sight words correctly, ask questions and give details!\u00a0 Include an envelope with return address and a stamp in hopes someone will write back:)<\/li>\n<li>Review the hard work your child did in school all year.\u00a0 Review their art work, writing, and the memory books they made.\u00a0 They will be proud to show you&lt;3<\/li>\n<li>Sit at the table and eat meals together.\u00a0 Really watch your child in how he or she sits on the chair, is there food everywhere?\u00a0 Are they using table manners?\u00a0 Work on that!<\/li>\n<li>Encourage kindnesses wherever your child goes!<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t rush to the rescue!\u00a0 Our children need us, but they also need to learn how problem solve on their own!\u00a0 Let them take the lead in how they resolve problems!<\/li>\n<li>Read TO your child!\u00a0 Please visit the local library and make books a part of your summer days!\u00a0 Let your child hear your silly voices as you read, let them hear you read!\u00a0 Make sure to ask them questions at the end of each story!<\/li>\n<li>Try to stay away from technology as much as you can&#8230;live in the moments, they won&#8217;t last forever!<\/li>\n<li>Visit the recreation department and have your child participate in one or many activities they will have throughout the city!<\/li>\n<li>Have fun and stay safe this summer&lt;3<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Report cards will be going home tomorrow:)\u00a0 Please send your child with a
