Each child who returns their reading log by <\/span><b>Wednesday, April 10th<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will earn a special prize, if they have reached their recommended reading goal for the month. \u00a0The Kindergarten reading goal is <\/span><b>20 minutes per day.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">..I know we can do it! \u00a0Make sure to jot the minutes down on the reading log calendar and on the homework as well:) \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Scholastic Reading Club<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Class Code &#8211; RKYTJ\u00a0<\/b><b>Order Due Date &#8211; \u00a03\/20\/19<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dear Families,<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a friendly reminder that your Book Clubs orders are due by 3\/20\/19. I am so proud of each student who worked so hard all week to ensure they were successful on their test! \u00a0If your child received a 100%, they will write with a &#8220;smart&#8221; pen all day Monday and also participate in &#8220;NO shoes afternoon&#8221; on Monday as well:) \u00a0On Monday, once your child comes in from recess, they will be able to take their shoes off and relax for the last part of the day. <\/span><b>Please make sure your child knows how to independently take off and put on their shoes. \u00a0I appreciate your support in this matter! <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Also, make sure to wash your child&#8217;s socks as soon as they come home on Monday, they may be a little darker than normal;) \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please consider buying something from our Scholastic Book Club at: <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/clubs.scholastic.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/clubs.scholastic.com\/<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0Activation code: RKYTJ. If for some reason your child doesn\u2019t finish his\/her classwork in class, I will send it home for homework to be completed at home and returned the next day. \u00a0Thank you for your support!<\/span><\/li>\n<li><b>Please make sure you provide your child with a NUT FREE snack. \u00a0\u00a0We are a NUT FREE classroom. lunch, it is OK to pack a juice for the lunchroom! \u00a0Remember to pack a water bottle each day for the classroom:)<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please pack your child&#8217;s snack SEPARATELY from your child&#8217;s home lunch. \u00a0This will help your child become less confused about what is for lunch and what is for snack.
