Next week we will complete lessons 17-19. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Subitize Country Style | Subitizing up to 5 | Math Song for Kids Jack Hartmann\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/UH8rLym53sw?start=162&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><b>Science<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: For October, we will learn about push &amp; pull.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Pushing and Pulling - Force, Work and Energy\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vAThuCmwp9I?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><b>Social Studies<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u00a0For October, we will learn what it means to be a responsible citizen in our school\/community:)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Halloween Celebration Note: \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dear Families, <\/span><b>Our Halloween celebration will be on Wednesday October 31st,<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0which means excited kids and parents too:) \u00a0With all the excitement, we are listing the expectations for the day. \u00a0Since we have seen an influx of food allergies in all the Kindergarten classrooms, we are asking families <\/span><b>not <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">to send your child with any treats to pass out to his\/her friends. \u00a0If by accident, your child sends a treat to school, we will kindly place it back in your child\u2019s backpack to take home. \u00a0Students are able to wear costumes for the day&#8230;YAY! We just ask that your child does <\/span><b>n<\/b><b>ot <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">bring to school any weapons\/wands\/masks, accessories with the costume. \u00a0If these are brought, we will kindly place them back into their backpacks. \u00a0We encourage each and every family to practice with your child how to put on and take off your child\u2019s costume since they will be in this costume throughout the duration of the school day. \u00a0Make sure your child is in his\/her costume at drop off! We will have a jam packed day, so the less disruptions the better:) <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Haigh Halloween parade will take place at 2:30 p.m. \u00a0We encourage families to come out and watch the parade that will take place outside. \u00a0There is no need to come into the building. We will also you this method for any field trips we may have during the school year.<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If your child is bringing a home lunch, it is OK to pack a juice for the lunchroom! \u00a0Remember to pack a water bottle each day for the classroom:)<\/span><\/i><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please pack your child&#8217;s snack SEPARATELY from your child&#8217;s home lunch. \u00a0This will help your child become less confused about what is for lunch and what is
